A one-person studio making software for the everyday.
From Salt is the studio practice of Nate Gosselin.
Under the Salt umbrella, Nate focuses on developing products aimed at everyday craft. His current project is Shortlist, a social map for sharing recommendations among friends (coming soon). The studio has also been responsible for driving new product development initiatives at AWS, LinkedIn, and Rugiet.
Before this, Nate spent fifteen years building software inside other companies. He was an early employee at Sharethrough (now Equativ), one of the first native advertising platforms, and helped launch its first video ad product and open its international business. At Flatiron Health, he led product for the core business unit, providing cutting-edge real-world data for cancer researchers and doubling its revenue. At Gitcoin, he helped design and launch an open-source protocol for public goods funding.
